from 553 reviewsNeeded to remove old bearings from hope 30mm bottom bracket and install new ones,
These guys helped me find the right extractor.
Price is spot on, postage was quick, quality is very high and the tools performed flawlessly.
These guys are my new go to for any bike bearing tools.
High quality, excellent price!
Great service and great tools. Highly recommend.
Worked perfectly 👍
This was my first time changing the bearings in my Giant SLR1 wheels. As I soon discovered it was a mind field of codes/sizes/bearings I needed to do the job. I managed to source the bearings, however, stuck with the correct sizeing tools. Thankfully Jim at BearingProTools put together a shopping list of the tools required to do the job. It was refreshing to know that the tools are machined and sold by the same UK co.
Well-engineered, precise and a delight to use. I am building up a collection of tools from Bearing Pro Tools to service our four bikes, which have a handful of bearing types. The alternatives from other suppliers are typically diverse sets, and whilst there are some excellent ones available, home mechanics would likely end up with tools they don't use. Bearing Pro Tools offer a great modular alternative as well as sets, plus many niche tools not readily available elsewhere.
Bought some tools from these before. The Tools are great and really well made, and at a great price for a home bike mechanic. Delivery was really quick and will definitely use them again.
Beautiful tools and really clear instructions. And at a great price.
Precisely machined, not too expensive and not made in China (made in Scotland I believe). All good and a pleasure to use.
If you're serious about doing more than just routine service work on your bike, or you're refitting bearings after a respray, then you'll need the Bearing Pro presskit.
Every kit is specific to your bike, but if you're not sure, drop them an email. The response was speedy and friendly 😊
I also purchased the bearing pullers for my Mega at the same time, they really are worth the money if you want clean and precise bearing removal.
Just a quick fyi when using the press kit, make sure to seat your new bearings into place evenly all the way round, using your fingers first and before applying and pressure on the press.
All bearing seats on frames, linkages etc have a slight bevel to aid insertion prior to using any form of tooling.
So always be certain you've got your bearing set correctly first, to avoid an expensive mistake.
Great product from a great guy. Always helpful and quick to answer any questions. Made the job a snitch. Thanks.
