Our slide hammer can be connected to any of our tap-out pullers (or indeed our blind wind-out pullers) to quickly and easily pull out any bearing. It is a convenient alternative to tapping the puller out from the other side using a hammer and drift.
In most cases the part holding the bearing can be held in one hand and the slide hammer operated with the other hand, saving the time normally spent finding support to tap out awkward bearings.
All parts of the hammer are manufactured from stainless steel, ensuring it's longevity through a lifetime of use.
Adaptors are provided for connecting the hammer to M6 and M8 threads, suitable for all of our V2 pullers.

How To
First, install our 'Tap-Out' type puller of the appropriate size in the bearing:
Next screw the slide hammer on to the end of the tap-out puller:
To remove the bearing, slide the weight quickly along the slide hammer so that it impacts with the end stopper. A few sharp taps should be all that's required to remove the bearing. Try to keep the hammer inline with the bearing and puller.
