Blind Wind-Out Bearing Puller Workshop Set

Regular price £165.00

Our workshop sets provide a comprehensive selection of tool sizes, aimed primarily at the professional workshop environment.

The sizes chosen reflect the most common sizes encountered in bike maintenance.

The wind-out blind bearing puller consists of two parts:

  1. An inner puller similar to our V2 expanding blind bearing puller, that matches the bearing ID and width
  2. An outer cup that should be selected to be 1-3mm larger than the bearing OD

The inner drifts and outer cups can be mixed and matched to suit a wide range of bearing sizes.

Each tool is engraved with it's size for easy identification.

A detailed description of our wind-out blind bearing pullers can be found here.

Each workshop set includes:

  • Inner puller sizes 8x7mm, 10x5mm, 10x6mm, 10x8mm, 12x5mm, 12x6mm, 12x8mm, 15x5mm, 15x7mm, 17x5mm, 17x7mm, 17x10mm, 20x7mm (select to match bearing ID and width)
  • Outer cup sizes 21mm, 23mm, 24mm, 26mm, 28mm, 30mm, 32mm, 34mm (select to be 1-3mm larger than bearing OD)
  • Two wind-out bolts for 8-12mm tools and 2 bolts for 15-20mm tools
  • Two spare bolts to allow wind-out tools to also be used as tap-out tools
  • Tough segmented organiser box
  • Laminated instruction sheet (English default, other languages on request)
  • 2-year no-quibble warranty

Please allow 2 working days for dispatch.

Our tools can be selected either by the bearing's dimensions or by the bearing's standard reference code.

Standard references take the form of a three to five digit number, such as 688, or 6902 for example.  These codes are often provided in the bike's user manuals, or moulded onto the bearing's seal. You might see something like 6902-2RS on the seal. The first digits are the standard reference.  The second part (2RS in this case) refers to the seal type and doesn't matter for tool selection.

While the letter & numbers after the baring ref usually refer to the type of seal, you should keep an eye out for the suffix 'E', for example 698-E.  This denotes that the inner race of the bearing is extended, which will affect puller and press selection.

Alternatively, tools can be selected by their inside (ID) and outside (OD) diameters and width (W).

Note that each tool is specific to one bearing size and can’t be used on bearings with different dimensions.

If you need any help then please feel free to email us!  We usually reply within 1 working day.

These tools are unreal! Simple as that.

As the title says, these tools are unreal. It's really that simple.

The ease of use is something that really sets them apart from something like the Alt Alt tools. The tray of tools, 5 and 6mm allens, and a pair of knipex is all you need to do every bearing in your bike.

Only using a couple of nuts and washers to make them work, means that if you lose any or damage them, a quick trip to the hardware store and you'll be up and running again.

The price is also something that seems too good to be true. When you look at Alt Alt or Abbey, who are trying to target the same demographic as these, the value is exceptional really.

The customer service was amazing, and easy to deal with, and I will 100% be buying more from these guys in the future.

Amazing set. Easy to use!

Amazing, made changing pivots on my sons bike a breeze. It has a few odd sized bearings for which the kit has no exact size but we figured it out with a bit of creativity.
