Getting Out There

Posted by Jim MacPhail on

Things have been busy here at BearingProTools!  With what time is left after the daily picking, packing and shipping tools we’ve been working to expand the availability of our products.

Perhaps the most exciting is the alliance we’ve formed with WheelChairBearings.com to offer some of our most popular tools directly to US customers, delivered from stock manufactured to our design, in the US, by our friends at WheelChairBearings.

We’ve been working with WheelChairBearings on and off for more than a year now, manufacturing for each other and sharing ideas.  Our companies work in slightly different markets but share a lot of similarities in approach and ethos.  A few months back we decided to take things one step further.

Orders through our www.ebay.com/usr/bearingprotoolsusa store are now shipped from stock manufactured and shipped in Houston Texas by the good folks at WheelChairBearings on our behalf.  The tool design and service is the same, but the shipping time should be reduced. Initially the US operation will just be active through ebay.com (orders from US customers to our website and ebay.co.uk will still be shipped from the UK).

We’ve also been adding kits for numerous bikes to our UK stores, including:

  • Bird Cycleworks (Aeris)
  • Commencal (Meta)
  • Norco (Range and Sight)
  • Nukeproof (Mega)
  • Orbea (Rallon and Occam)
  • Santa Cruz (2018 bikes added)
  • Specialized (2018 Enduro and Stumpjumper added)
  • Rocky Mountain
  • Whyte

We’ve focused on the kits that we expect to be most popular, but if you don’t see what you need just drop us an email and we’ll see if we can put together a puller or press kit for your bike!

Finally we’re now on Amazon (properly).  We now have all of our stock listed on Amazon, giving you another option for sourcing our tools.  Just now we’ll be shipping from our own base, but soon plan to have stock in Amazon’s warehouse, because I’m sure you love Prime’s next day delivery as much as we do!

What’s next?  Stay tuned!
