The new products are coming thick and fast just now! This one is an obvious next step. We now have bearing presses for the most common bottom bracket bearings: 25x37x7mm and 30x42x7mm.
These two bearing sizes are employed by many bottom bracket manufacturers, including Hope and others, often using the following references:
Installing bearings straight and accurately is important if you want your bearings to last. It’s particularly critical for bottom bracket bearings; these bearings have a large diameter relative to the width and depth of the races, so are especially vulnerable to damage and premature wear due to misalignment of the races, or twisting during installation.
We’ve also added a fat bike option, which comes with a 200mm long threaded rod.. We’ve found that some manufacturer’s bb presses simply don’t expand far enough for the wide spindles used on fat bikes.
The new presses are on sale here.
